Sciatica Buttock Pain, Numbness, Tingling, and Burning Relief - Alternative, Safe, and Natural at Home Sciatic Nerve Pain Solution

sciatica sciatic nerve pain relief treatment

Sciatica buttock pain, numbness, tingling, and burning sensation relief, for both left buttock pain, right buttock pain, and the entire lower extremities is desired by many, but achieved by few. The reason is simple, most are simply treating the symptoms of their sciatic nerve pain. However, there is an alternative, safe, and natural at home sciatica nerve pain relief self-treatment and therapeutic cure for symptoms of numbness, tingling, burning, shooting, radiating, pins, and needles nerve pain in the right-left buttock, butt cheek, bum, lumbar lower back, hips, posterior pelvis, thighs, legs, feet, and gluteal muscles.

Correcting muscular imbalances is a very effective and successful sciatic nerve entrapment and impingement self-treatment option that does not require any pain pills, prescription drugs, shots, repeat office visits, or surgery. This alternative, yet natural Sciatica pain relief treatment may seem unconventional to some, but its effectiveness is real.

Sciatica buttock numbness, pain, tingling, and burning sensation is caused by a compressed, stretched, pinched, or irritated sciatic nerve often due to muscle impingement and muscle entrapment.

It’s important to note, that the sciatic nerve roots begin in the low back, join into a single nerve, and run under, below, or through the piriformis muscle, and continue down the entire length of each leg. It is the largest single nerve in the human body.

Sciatica buttock tingling, numbness, pain, and burning sensation is all to common in today’s society. Especially in modern industrialized nations where on average individuals are getting very little exercise, and spending more time sitting and lounging with poor posture than we every have in human history. Many individuals struggle with sciatic nerve symptoms, not knowing what is the cause of their suffering. This is because they often associate its symptoms as a pins and needles feeling or a pain in the left and right buttock, butt cheek, bum, lumbar lower back, hips, posterior pelvis, legs, feet, and gluteal muscles. When in reality, it’s the sciatic nerve that is the origin of their symptoms.

Whether you struggle with Sciatica buttock pain a little or a lot, it’s important to know that an alternative, safe, and natural at home self-treatment is available. Conventional treatments are guilty of leaving victims discouraged, upset, and searching for a real long-term and permanent solution. This is because conventional treatments focus on treating symptoms. What you need is a treatment that focuses on treating the root cause of your Sciatica buttock pain, numbness, burning, and tingling sensation.

Let me explain, the root cause of your Sciatica stems from a broader, and much more basic issue than you think. Muscle imbalances are causing an unnatural environment (aka physical dysfunctions) that will irritate, compress, stretch, or pinch your sciatic nerve.

It’s critical to understand that your muscles are responsible for maintaining the correct alignment of your spine, hips, lumbar low back and entire body. The misalignment between your lumbar lower back and hips is creating an unnatural environment, causing unneeded stress, inflammation, and premature wear and tear on the spine, hips, and their supporting structure.

Consider this, you’ve had sciatica buttock tingling, numbness, pain, or burning sensation, and a misaligned lumbar lower back and hips for years.

There was some pain and discomfort, but it was manageable. All the sudden, and without any good reason you have terrible sciatic nerve pain, numbness, burning, and tingling sensations in the left buttock, right buttock, butt cheek, lumbar lower back, hips, posterior pelvis, legs, or gluteal muscles. Conventional medicine diagnoses a herniated (aka slipped, ruptured, torn, collapsed, bulging, or prolapsed) disc as the condition responsible for your Sciatica. Permanent Sciatic Nerve Buttock Pain, Numbness, & Tingling Treatment& ReliefThis is where conventional medicine gets it wrong every-time. They focus solely on treating the herniated disc, and not the muscle imbalances and body alignment issues that are responsible for your degenerated disc(s). The first thing you need to do is correct any muscular imbalances to realign your spine and hips to take the pressure off your discs. By doing this, you effectively treat the root cause, your disc degeneration, and your Sciatica nerve pain.

It’s important to note, that a small percentage of Sciatica symptoms are due to an advanced degenerative stage such as a herniated, ruptured, or bulging disc. However, if left untreated your symptoms and condition will likely continue to worsen at an accelerated pace.

Currently, it’s much more likely that your Sciatica is a result of a compressed, stretched, pinched, or irritated lumbar nerve, sacral nerve, or sciatic nerve due to inflammation, physical dysfunctions, and an unnatural environment around the nerve, such as piriformis syndrome and lordosis (aka hyperlordosis, swayback, saddle back). Remember, muscle imbalances are the root cause and fixing them is the long-term permanent solution.

Why have I not heard of this before you ask? Unfortunately it’s because, our society is driven by money, and there is more money to be made treating symptoms through medication, shots, repeat chiropractic adjustments, or surgery than there is treating the root cause to provide long-term relief. Treating symptoms increases revenue by generating repeat and potentially lifelong customers.

Remember, the results of treating muscle imbalances does more than treat Sciatica, it restores muscular balance and alignment for your entire body. Effectively, creating a stress free environment for your spine, lumbar low back, hips, spinal cord, sciatic nerves, discs, and your bodies entire supporting structure. Fix your bodies foundation and you will be amazed at the benefits to not only your specific problems, but also your general health.

After sitting down in the car or similar type of seat for a period of about an hour, but this can fluctuate depending on how long I sat like this on the day before. I get a numbing pain in my left buttock. This gets to be very uncomfortable, it never progresses to any other area, always my left buttock. The pain is uncomfortable rather than very painful. I have been suffering like this for about 6 months. I am happy to take advice and feel that maybe exercise and stretches are the next step, but feel that I need some professional advice. I only seem to get this when in car or aircraft, sitting on the sofa it is never as bad.

    • Tina chon says:

Hi Martyn, are you still suffering with left butt pain? If not, can you advise? Thanks!

I am having severe pain in my buttocks and it feels like I have set in a yellow jackets nest. I do have arthritis in my back, just like everyone else. I have 2 bulging and 2 herniated disks in my lower back and have had 4 steriod injections. This pain is different from my sciatic pain. It is primarily in my behind and it hurts to sit and/or lay down. When I lay on either side then that hip gets to hurting. The pain encompasses my entire rump and it hurts and feels tired all @ the same time. I hurt really bad and am tryin a coccyx pillow but all that does is go flat and alternating ice and heat. Any ideas?

  5. jenny says:

I just recently began having this, and it began a day ago when I sat down on the bed and lied down. I would feel like a bite/pinch feeling so I’d check my butt and nothing was crawling and no needle? Today same thing, I just felt numbness every-time I would get up. When I got that pinching feeling, as if I was pinched with a needle, it immediately made my right butt numb. I feel as if its a small spot, but it numbs all around that spot on my butt…

  6. Froso says:

    Hello,

I have had deep butt pain for 3 years. Goes into my groin and hip. Most recently I had a heaviness in my foot and then tingling. I have had every test done none to man kind. Scans. MRI’s special blood work etc.. This has put a toll on me. Can you help?

      Stress Fracture??

    • Pain away says:

I have been dealing with right buttock pain for about 3 years. It started as a tingle in my groin, left there and is now from the buttock down to my heel. I’ve had several shots, Piriformis and Sacroiliac (SI) joint injection. I just had surgery on my L4-L5 spine, with NO help yet. Oxcarbazepine takes the edge off. This shit sucks. Any help out there?

      • cheryl says:

I’m curious to know if you have found relief yet!
I am dealing with similar symptoms and the pain unbearable and also dealing with doctors that don’t listen to my symptoms and treat me for something I don’t have, beings that nothing has taken the pain away yet! They gave me NO pain medications, not even Ibuprofen or Tylenol! I’ve had this since June 14th 2018 and I am getting worse when I should be feeling better. Considering all the stuff they’ve had me do my pain has grown stronger and has grown throughout my right HIP/BUTT/LEG!
        Please let me know ASAP!
        Sincerely, Cheryl Simmons

    • Diane says:

Severe pain in back of left calf, thereafter prickly pins and needles at same site. Pain also radiates up through leg in hip and lower back.

      • A 55 Yr Old Grandma says:

Whenever you have any pain in your calves, you should immediately see your doctor for the possibility of blood clots.
When I get one it starts in my right calf muscle, it is like a pain that is worse than a leg ache or charlie horse. Then it goes away as fast as it got there, but unfortunately it means it moved. In my case up into my right lung, and thank GOD I made it to ER in time.

  8. K says:

I have had this pinching pain in my right buttocks on the lower end, it doesn’t last long, but I feel like if I’ve been sitting down a long time at work, that’s when it happens. I’m okay to lie down or sit on the couch. I am wondering, could this be the start of something bad? Is there any exercises I can do to stretch my legs or lower buttocks that will help, or should I stand more often at work? I should note, I do work long hours.

    • Lee says:

Hi K, I would consider getting it checked. I had numbness in my butt around 3 years back whenever I would sit behind a lorry to work. I kept on sitting behind the lorry for nearly 3 years. Then it became painful. I used to be able to feel my butt when I was sitting, but now I can’t feel it. When I sit on soft material, the butt flesh sinks in crumple and it’s painful. If on hard surface, I feel I am sitting directly on my bone, it is painful also. I have degenerative disc, but MRI shows that the nerve is not pinched. And now I have pain in my foot also. All this is really affecting my daily life. I regretted sitting behind the lorry to work, and didn’t pay much attention to the numbness. My advice is to get it checked out. I am 35 years old and from Singapore.

I’m in same situation as you are, had it for month and a half. My Dr. diagnosed as Sciatica and 4 weeks of physical therapy. After a Rhizotomy, I have experienced pins and needles in my buttocks and lower back. My back hurts in a shocking way and I also have Osteoporosis. I also feel when I sit that I am sitting on my bare bone. There is also degenerative disc damage. Pain killers are my solution as I cannot have a back operation.

  16. Karen says:

I had nerves burnt 2 years ago. Now having pain again from left buttock which spreads to foot, and feels like a cramp in my foot. 17. Liz Landrean says:

I’ve been dealing with this pain in my lower back for years. Now I have this sharp, achy, very painful, and very uncomfortable feeling from my right bum to my toes. I find it very difficult to sit or lay comfortably, but if I stand up and start walking, the pain will ease off a bit. I’m on all kinds of medications including morphine which I find none of it is helping me. Can you please suggest something to help me get through this?
    Thanks.

    • Ruth says:

Two years ago I had severe pain in my upper right groin. It went away after 6 weeks. Last year I had burning and tingling pain in my legs for 4 months. It has since eased off. I had investigations but no one suggested any spine or muscle problem. 10 weeks ago both problems came back together along with some right buttock pain. IT hurts to sit down or lie on my back. Walking does ease it for a short while. I had 3 sessions of physical therapy and exercises, but no improvement yet. I take ibuprofen and have used ice and heat. Please tell me what I can do for relief.

      • Hill says:

Hello Ruth, your pain sounds exactly like what my mom is going through. She has been through diagnosis after diagnosis and has been laying in bed on her stomach day after day because she cannot sit or lay on her back either. Right now Dr’s are thinking Fibromyalgia may be an issue, but honestly we have heard more diagnosis’s throughout the 9 months of her dealing with this than you could imagine. She has seen chiropractors, spinal surgeons, had an MRI, acupuncture, pain Dr’s and more. I hope your pain has been resolved since this post. If you have any helpful advice I would greatly appreciate to hear anything! Thanks for your time!

  18. Carlia says:

My pain started with lower back pain, and ended up in my right butt cheek and runs down my led to my foot sometimes making my foot heavy and burning. The only relief I get is laying down. I’m a single mother of a teenager and work full time. I can’t be laying in bed 24-7 any suggestions? I REALLY need some help on this,

  19. Mary Bates says:

I have a pins and needles pain in my left ankle, and all of my left leg. It is so bad some days, I want to chop my leg off. Now I have a burning sensation in my upper right buttock. I was prescribed Co-codamol, and that had no effect. I was sent for physiotherapy and acupuncture, which also had no effect. I am now taking Gabapentin, and that masks the pain a little but eventually the pain breaks through. I’ve had an MRI scan that shows a bulging disc and trapped nerve.

  20. linda says:

Because I have mobility problems I spend considerable time sitting so I have terrible pain in my left buttock. It has made trips miserable as this pain sets in, and I just want to get standing even briefly as it goes right away. However, the pain returns again when I sit back down. Special cushions don’t give me much relief. So I’m desperate with this pain, can you offer any help. Thanks.

  22. Sharan says:

Since May 2016 I have this buzzing of nerves in my foot. It feels like I am walking on sand all the time at my toes. From the lower hip down to my foot, I have current feeling in my legs. I did a MRI and X-Ray, and it shows a slight bulging of my disc. I have very bad anxiety too, so Dr’s are saying it is my anxiety. I can practically feel the zzzzzzz sound of nerves at my foot. Both my buttock cheeks do hurt a little.

  23. Mimi says:

I suffered a dislocated right hip at birth which caused me to have scoliosis as an adolescent. I was told that the scoliosis wouldn’t cause anything else, but I think it has. I now experience a horrible burning pain in my right hip that travels down my thigh and sometimes makes my right foot slightly numb. Is there anything I can do to correct and/or remedy this issue as it affects my daily life.

    • Prof Col Rakesh Sharma says:

Sir, we have to bear the pain, but I would request that with the pain go for swim daily undeterred. Also when in the water, do the yoga exercise as prescribed. Take milk with turmeric and gulp down. You will get relief.
      Regards and please recover fast.

  25. Eva says:

Whenever I sit down on the floor reading or doing work, my butt goes numb after about 15-20 minutes. When I get up, it goes away pretty quickly. But my butt still hurts sometimes. When I sit in a chair, this does not happen. Oh, and I am a twelve year old girl. Any tips?

  26. Teresa says:

I have a sharp pain from my lower middle back to left side above my butt. This pain only happens when I lay down on either side and the pain shoots down my leg to my foot. The pain at times is unbearable, I want to cry when the sharp pain starts. I slowly changes positions but less than a minute, sharp pain shoots through my back to my hip then down my leg causing severe muscle aches. After the sharp pain shoots through there is just a steady very uncovered pain from lower back to hip and feet. The left side happens 80% more then right side, and it only happens when I lay down to go to bed. I’ve even changed beds 4 times and also tried the couch, memory foam, and floor but nothing helped it to improve and it still hurts every night. Any reply comments welcomed!

  27. lisa says:

Well my problem is that I have had lower back pain, it’s been a year and it all started after my car accident. It’s a lower back constant pain that eventually radiates to my left buttock and goes down to my leg and stops at my calf, but it’s like a shooting pins numbness sensation that sometimes is unbearable. Eventually my feet or my foot becomes numb and then my toe hurts like if it’s frozen and that will last quite a few seconds sometimes end up minutes, but it alternates from left to right but the constant pain is in my lower back. After it fluctuates from left to right my hands start getting numb and my arms are very very sore like if I had worked out the night before. I don’t know what to do, doctors can’t figure out what it is I just wanted somebody’s opinion. Thank You

  28. caroline says:

I have been told that I will have permanent numbness and discomfort in my bottom. There is nothing that can now be done. I fell on my bottom 2 years ago and have been to endless hospital appointments, and nothing has been done such as treatment and now it’s too late. It’s like sitting on a hard golf ball permanently.
